Alessandra Ambrosio’s Workout

Alessandra’s trainer Leandro Carvalho helped to get her into runway shape in no time. Alessandra was limited with her exercise routine after having had a C-section. Alessandra couldn’t do crunches, sit-ups, and lunges. So instead Alessandra relied on climbing, walking, and using ankle weights for her workouts. Not long after Alessandra added cardio to her routine. Carvalho also had Alessandra do his Brazilian Buttlift workout involving a unique combination of ballet, squats, lunges, and capoeira. Alessandra did the Buttlift workout for two hours every day. ”We worked out every day. We didn’t have a day off because time was so short,” says Carvalho.

“It’s all about working out the abs and the butt. Doing lots of squats and lunges with ankle weights,” Alessandra says in the video. “Because you know Brazilians they always worry about their butts. So that’s one thing I want to make sure is perfect on the runway.”

Alessandra admits that she is not a fan of treadmill work and prefers instead to go walking. Walking is a great way to burn fat, a 90 walk can burn over 500 calories and you still have the energy for a bodyweight workout later in the day.

Alessandra Ambrosio Diet

Alessandra Ambrosio uses Portion Control to keep that lean, frim body. She says she enjoys caipirinha (a Brazilian Cocktail) and some chocolates daily. Some of her favorite Cuisines styles are Polish, Guacha, Japanese, and Thai. Her diet consisted of small meals, eating lots of salads and switching from white rice to brown rice.To drop the weight Alessandra gained from her pregnancy she went on a strict diet. She ate only eating healthy Foods, no junk food, and apparently for Alessandra that meant giving up chocolate.

“After I gave birth, my diet was a very healthy diet, like no sugar, no bread,” she was quoted as saying. “But now, I am just eating whatever.”
